About Pro Video Security
We are a licensed alarm contractor that specializes in the service and installation of CCTV, video security, alarm systems, intercoms, smart home automation, and access control, in Chicagoland.
Our company was founded in 2001 by Perry Myers, who purchased the U-Spy Store from a Florida Private Detective. Perry has over forty years’ experience as a PI with an electronic security emphasis, and this expertise came in handy while expanding the store with the latest technological advances, and personnel.
Our trained staff technicians are equipped to answer all clients’ security questions and also demonstrate the security products that are on display in the showrooms.
We have showrooms in Chicago and Morton Grove, Illinois, servicing the entire Chicagoland area as well as Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. On Saturdays, we’re open from 10.00 am to 5 pm.

Clients can also be serviced remotely with remote access setup and other technical troubleshooting methods. We work with a large number of manufacturers so our product experience is vast.
One of our most significant recent achievements was when a client required security cameras placed over a large area of land. He was told by our competitors that trenching wire underground was the only solution. We easily solved the issue by implementing a wireless mesh network with HD IP cameras throughout the property. This became a simple solution that saved tens of thousands of dollars for our clients.
